Utah woman killed in head-on crash in Logan Canyon

A Kaysville woman was killed Friday night in Logan Canyon after her northbound Subaru drifted into the southbound lane and hit another vehicle head-on, the Utah Highway Patrol says. The driver of the Subaru driver was airlifted to Salt Lake City. The collision occurred about 8:45 p.m. on State Road 89 about a mile south of Beaver Ski Resort turn-off. Five other people were taken to Logan hospitals in stable condition, UHP said. Her name has not been released pending notification of relatives.

A passenger in Balling's car was also hospitalized, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
