Sgt. Cade Brenchley said at about 2:30 p.m., Monson came to a complete stop to wait for an opening in traffic, and when the roadway was clear, he started to make the turn east into Millville.
Monson lost control of the motorcycle as he entered the turn, causing it to roll.
