Motorcyclist injured in collision at West Sunset Boulevard and North Dixie Drive in Saint George, Utah
Motorcycle crashes into SUV turning onto Dixie Drive
The driver in a maroon Mitsubishi SUV thought it was clear to make a left turn into a nearby business but did not see the oncoming motorcycle after the two cars in front of it had cleared the lane, St. George Police Sgt. Choli Ence said.
Since motorcycle crashes often end in serious injuries, victims need immediate help
Motorcycle accidents are more likely to end in serious injuries or death for the motorcyclist, since the rider is not protected from the force of a collision. When a motorcycle accident happens, the injured rider needs immediate, appropriate medical care, the accident needs to be investigated, and the insurance companies need to be informed.
When a motorcycle crash is caused by negligence, additional steps need to be taken to protect the legal rights of the injured motorcyclist or the family members of someone killed in a motorcycle crash. Go here to learn more about motorcycle accidents and claims.
