9,000-pound load of glass falls on worker in St. George

Errick Holmes, 48, of Long Beach, California, was unstrapping a delivery of glass on a loading deck around 9 a.m. when the glass fell and trapped him, according to St. George police. Holmes was delivering a shipment to a building belonging to Viracon, a glass fabrication company at 1686 E. Venture Drive.

Man crushed under thousands of pounds of glass dies

A truck driver who was critically injured Wednesday morning while unloading a shipment of glass to the Viracon facility in St. George has died.
