A northbound white pickup truck driven by Coloe Munoz, 32, allegedly ran a red light in West Jordan Tuesday morning, triggering the three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Redwood Road at 8200 South. After running the red light, the pickup hit a silver car, forcing it into the southbound lanes hundreds of feet down the road and into a dry drainage canal and killing its driver, William Horner. A passenger in the car, Horner's granddaughter, was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The pickup also struck a white Ford Mustang. Munoz was hospitalized with minor injuries and charged with auto homicide, two counts of felony DUI, possession of a firearm by a restricted person, and various traffic offenses.
