Gun-toting teens arrested after early morning high-speed chase

But the driver refused to pull over, and led cops on a chase, with speeds reaching 85 mph.

A Unified Police officer eventually spiked the SUV's tires near 5400 S. 1330 West, and as the vehicle drove under the Interstate 15 overpass, the driver lost control of the car and went over the median, striking a pole and two large boulders.

Four teenagers then fled from the car, police officials said, but they were quickly arrested.

The SUV the teens were driving was listed as stolen out of Sandy, according to police, and four handguns found inside the car were taken in home burglaries in Sandy earlier Thursday evening.
