Pedestrian killed by hit-and-run driver on Western Avenue and Union Street in Brattleboro, Vermont

Vermont police say a pedestrian has died in a suspected hit and run in Brattleboro. Police say the person was struck Friday evening in the area of Western Avenue and Union Street. Authorities say the vehicle reportedly left the scene. The pedestrian, whose name has not been released, was taken to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital where he later died of his injuries.
