According to the police narrative, the collision occurred around 10:24 a.m. Aug. 31. Lloyd was traveling west in the 6700 block of Spotswood Trail near Dyke Road when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the centerline and struck the Blancos head-on in the eastbound lane.
