Two seriously injured after car crashes into ditch

Chesapeake, Va. – Two people suffered serious injuries after their car crashed into a ditch Sunday morning . Officer Kosinski with Chesapeake Police says crews found the car in a ditch at the intersection of Beaver Dam Court and Beaver Dam Road around 2:16 a.m. Immediately after the two were transported to Sentara Norfolk General with serious, life-threatening injuries, Police say. Kosinski also says there is no word yet on if speed and alcohol were a factor, but that the accident is under investigation. It took firefighters nearly half an hour to extract the victims from the vehicle.
