Man dies in Friday morning motorcycle crash in Chesapeake

The crash involved a motorcycle and a minivan and occurred at the intersection of Cedar Road and Eagle Drive around 6:50 a.m. Chesapeake Police officers arrived at the scene and found the driver of the motorcycle unconscious. The driver of the minivan, an adult female, was not injured. Upon arrival at the hospital, the man was pronounced deceased. He was transported to Chesapeake Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Steinke was not conscious following the wreck. He was taken to Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
