Virginia Beach police are at the scene of a vehicle crash involving injuries Thursday afternoon.
Driver dies week after Va. Beach crash
Crash scene investigators determined Harvest was driving a 1998 BMW 745i sedan last Monday when she lost control around 6:45 p.m. She was traveling south in the 1300 block of London Bridge Road and exited the roadway where there was a slight bend.
Virginia Beach woman dies after crash
After tripping in the grass, rolling and striking a grassy culvert, the car ended up in the air and threw out the driver, police said. The driver, identified as Ulrika Emma Harvest, of Virginia Beach, landed several feet away and was taken to a local hospital. The car also landed nearby.
At about 3:45p.m., two-vehicles collided at the intersection of Lynnhaven Parkway and Avenger Drive. One person was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The area around the accident was closed for several hours while crews investigated.
