Investigators say a 2005 Jeep Wrangler was going west on Shore Drive when the victim walked into the road. The Jeep hit the pedestrian near an intersection marked by a traffic signal.

Preliminary investigation revealed the driver of a 2005 Jeep Wrangler was traveling westbound on Shore Drive approaching the traffic signal when Bollard entered the roadway and was struck by the vehicle as it entered the intersection.
