Brandon J. Baker, 37, stuck and killed by a vehicle on Route 1 in Chesterfield County, Virginia

Police said a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta was traveling south when it struck an adult male pedestrian, identified as Brandon J. Baker, 37, who was in the roadway. The driver of the striking vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with police. Baker, of the 10400 block of Centralia Station Road, was pronounced deceased on scene.
