Jose Hernandez, 28, died in a single-car collision with a tree on Belmont Road in Chesterfield County, Virginia

At about 3:50 p.m. on Aug. 3, police said, a 2001 Honda CRV was traveling north on Belmont Road when it ran off the roadway to the left and struck a tree. The driver, identified as Jose R. Hernandez, 28, of the 4100 block of Lamplighter Court, was pronounced dead at the scene.
