Medical emergency leads to multiple car accident in Arlington

ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA9) -- A multiple car accident occurred Wednesday afternoon in Arlington after a driver lost control of their vehicle while having a medical emergency. Kenneth Williams of the Arlington County Fire Department said that there were two minor injuries stemming from the accidents. According to Dustin Sternbeck of the Arlington County Police Department, the driver stuck 13 other vehicles on the Jefferson-Davis Highway near 20th Street while having a medical episode and was transported to an area hospital from the scene.
