Tapani, of Battle Ground, was pronounced dead Friday night at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, according to state patrol.

A Battle Ground woman died Friday night following a three-car collision on State Highway 503 that occurred on Thursday at 9:27 a.m. crash just south of Battle Ground. Elanor Tapani, 86, was a passenger in a Kia Sorento driven by Linda Dallum, 55, of Battle Ground. Both women were hospitalized. Dallum’s was listed in satisfactory condition Thursday night. The crash occurred when Dean Imokawa, 46, of Battle Ground, attempted to switch lanes and his pickup hit a Land Rover driven by 29-year-old Nicholas Grier of Battle Ground, which then and then crossed over into oncoming traffic and crashed with the Kia.
