Suspected intoxicated driver hits construction worker
A Battle Ground man suspected of driving under the influence allegedly struck a construction worker with his truck early this morning.
25-year-old Berdan C. Lindberg was working in a construction zone along Highway 502 when a pickup truck driver who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, identified as Kenneth F. Myers, 70, ran over a traffic cone that was blocking off the worker's area and struck him. After being brought to the hospital, Linberg was listed in satisfactory condition.
