Suspected intoxicated driver causes crash north of Battle Ground

Myah Lovett, 33, was driving a 2007 Volkswagen EOS 2-door west on Rock Creek Road approaching when she reportedly didn'€™t stop for a stop sign at state Highway 503, according to Washington State Patrol. The Volkswagen hit a silver 2014 Honda CRV traveling north on the highway at about 8:30 p.m., state patrol said. The driver of the Honda, Rhonda Elston, 57, of La Center, was injured and taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center where she was treated and released. Lovett and two juveniles in her vehicle, ages 5 and 7, were not injured. Lovett faces a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants and two counts of reckless endangerment, according to state patrol.
