Jenee D. Phillips, 34, killed, after her vehicle leaves the South 45th Ave. roadway in Ridgefield, overturns and she is ejected from the vehicle.

A Ridgefield woman died in a single-vehicle crash late Friday night. Ridgefield police officers were called to the 500 block of South 45th Avenue about 11:30 p.m. to a reported crash. A 2012 Honda van that was traveling north the road left the roadway and rolled several times into a grassy field, according to police. The driver and car’s only occupant, Jenee D. Phillips, 34, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, police said. Alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash, police said, but he said the rainy weather may have also contributed. The crash remains under investigation by the Ridgefield Police Department, with assistance from the traffic detectives at the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
