A Vancouver man ran from the scene of a Tuesday-morning crash in the Northeast Hazel Dell area, according to the Clark County Sheriff's Office

Court documents indicate that Weaver was convicted in 2009 of hit-and-run injury and driving under the influence. He has six convictions related to driving with a suspended license.

The two-vehicle collision occured at 10:43 a.m. at Northeast 34th Avenue and 78th Street. One of the drivers, Nicholas P. Weaver, 26, ran from the scene of the crash. He was taken into custody nearby and booked into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of hit-and-run and driving with a suspended license, in addition to an outstanding arrest warrant on a separate driving while suspended charge. The other driver, Richard F.
