An accident Friday night has injured four people in Vancouver, Washington. A car was driving north on Saint Johns Boulevard, attempting to merge onto the westbound ramp of Highway 500 at high speed, crashing into a concrete barrier. Emergency responders received a call reporting the crash at 8:54 PM. Upon arrival, they found four injured and sent them to the hospital. Two of the victims were critically injured. A passenger in the back seat was found in the roadway when they arrived, however it is still unclear whether that person was thrown from the car. The driver of the vehicle, who was sent to the hospital, was later arrested on suspicion of driver under the influence.
