VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) - Three people were injured when they were struck head-on by a motorist driving the wrong way on a one-way street as he fled police in Vancouver. The Washington State Patrol says a 5-week-old child in the car escaped injury in the Friday crash. The driver, a 22-year-old woman from Camas, and two passengers from Vancouver were taken to a hospital. The Columbian reports that the wrong-way driver, a 24-year-old Vancouver man, was not hurt. He was booked in the Clark County Jail and faces potential charges of drunken driving, attempting to elude a police officer and reckless endangerment, among others.
