Victim identified in fatal Auburn crash

Colson was in the passenger seat of a vehicle headed south in the 700 block of Auburn Way North, when it crashed into a power pole just after 2 a.m., according to police. No other vehicles were involved.

Colson did not appear to be wearing a seat belt, and died at the scene. The woman driving the car was listed in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Both Colson and driver are in their early 40s. Future vehicular homicide charges are possible, he said.
