Tyler says the victim reported that he grew concerned after observing the postal worker yelling obscenities at another person and decided to take a photo of the vehicle in order to make a complaint to the U.S. Postal Service.

"The victim stated that the postal worker was laughing as if she just heard a joke as she was driving toward the victim," Officer Tyler said. "So that's very concerning."

According to Bellevue police, the victim, Bradley Kitchen, saw the postal worker yelling obscenities at another person, became concerned and wanted to take a photo of the truck to file a complaint.

A 55-year-old postal worker was arrested Friday for striking a man with her postal truck three times. The man was concerned after seeing the postal carrier yell obsceneties and "laughing hysterically" in front of Phantom Lake Elementary school in Bellevue, Washington. The man attempted to take a photo of the mail truck to complain to the U.S. Postal Service when the female mail carrier put the truck into gear and drove forward into his leg. When the man staggered backward, the mail carrier drove forward and hit him twice more. The man was not injured despite being hit. The postal worker, a Newcastle woman, was arrested for fourth-degree assault and sent to Harborview Medical Center for mental evaluation.
