Woman crashes car through entrance to retirement center on Marine View Drive in Des Moines, Washington

A car crashed through the main door of a Des Moines retirement center late Wednesday, but luckily no one was injured. Emergency personnel responded to the scene at the Judson Park Retirement Community at 23600 Marine View Drive, at about 9 p.m. after receiving a report of a car into a building. At the scene, they found that a woman visiting the center had accidentally driven her car through the main lobby window. The impact destroyed the window, and damaged some fixtures and furniture, but no one was hit.
