The motorcyclist was thrown onto the northbound shoulder at 12:37 p.m., just north of the Snohomish River near Everett. Police believe the man, 30, of Selah, somehow lost control of his motorcycle. Witnesses reported seeing the man making abrupt lane changes for about 10 miles before the crash. The man was taken to a local hospital with a foot injury.
