3 dead in hit-and-run rollover crash on I-5 in Lakewood
The 23-year-old male driver of the vehicle that fled the original crash on southbound I-5 at Bridgeport was taken into custody a few miles south at Washington Avenue Southwest and Lake Street Southwest in Lakewood, according to state patrol. That person was arrested on investigation of charges of DUI, hit-and-run, possession of a stolen firearm, and three counts of vehicular homicide. He was also driving without a driver's license.

Arrested and booked on multiple felonies as the suspect driver that caused the fatalities was 23-year old Montrell T. Red of Tacoma, Washington the driver of a 2002 Nissan Maxima sedan that was totaled in the crash.

Montrell Tormel Red, 23, was charged by prosecutors on Friday with three counts of vehicular homicide and one count of failing to remain at the scene of a fatal accident.
