A woman was killed this morning when her car veered into oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle on Highway 99 in Lynnwood, police said. The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. in the 17100 block of Highway 99. Police said a woman, later identified as Jeretta C. Graham, 77, was driving south when her car veered into northbound traffic, colliding head-on with a second vehicle. The southbound driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the second driver, a woman in her 40s, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, police said. Police said it is unclear what caused the southbound driver to veer into northbound traffic.
