Police were investigating a fatal accident Wednesday morning involving a pedestrian and a train. The incident occurred near the railroad crossing at 172nd Street, Marysville police Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux said. The victim is male. Age and identification were not immediately available. Commuters who use 172nd Street were urged to use alternate routes.
