Sometime between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., two cars were seen speeding back and forth down Ainsworth near 116th in Parkland.

On Monday night, witnesses watched in horror as a gunman in a white, 4-door Lexus drove up alongside Daniel’s car and shot him in the head. Daniel lost control of his car, which crashed into parked cars along Ainsworth Avenue South and flipped.

Between 9 and 10 p.m., witnesses reported seeing two cars speeding back and forth on Ainsworth. Several gunshots were heard, and one of the cars took off at a high rate of speed. The car struck a mailbox and two parked cars before hitting a rock wall and becoming airborne. The car spun several times and landed on the driver's side door. The driver was declared dead at the scene. The second car sped away from the scene, and more gunfire was heard as it drove away.
