Man suspected of DUI in Pierce County crash

A reckless driver was flying down River Road and clipped the corner of a Volkswagen. After hitting the Volkswagen it went head-on into a blue Ford Focus headed eastbound. Police say the reckless driver was also impaired. The crash sent the 50-year-old woman who was driving the Ford Focus to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
