Fatal crash involving Metro bus blocked traffic for hours

The collision occurred around 4:30 a.m. near Jones Road, according to the Washington State Patrol. The crash is south of Cedar Grove Road.

The driver of a sedan swerved into the opposite lane and crashed head-on into a King County Metro bus around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning on Renton Maple Valley Road SE. The driver of the car was killed instantly and the bus driver suffered minor injuries. The bus had no passengers on board at the time.
