A 19-year-old Olympia woman was killed Monday morning around 3:50 a.m. after being hit by a semi-truck while crossing a northbound lane of State Route 101 about a mile south of Shelton, according to a news release from Washington State Patrol.

The woman was driving southbound on Highway 101 when she crashed. She got out of her vehicle and tried to cross the highway when she was hit by a semi.
