As many as 10 cars crashed in multiple locations Sunday morning in Tacoma, as some freeways and overpasses saw the first ice of the season.

The State Patrol said five vehicles were involved. One vehicle was the first car to spin out on ice and a chain reaction of four other vehicle collisions started.
Troopers say there were injuries but details were not known.
The State Patrol said via Twitter that icy conditions were a factor but not the cause of the pile-up.
“The person behind the wheel causes the collision. Adjust your driving 4 conditions,” WSP said.
