Driver killed when car sheared in half during wreck
A Tacoma man was killed after his car was sheared in half in a wreck on Schuster Parkway in Tacoma. The News Tribune reports the crash happened at about 7 p.m. Friday. The driver lost control of the car and struck a guard rail, splitting the car in half. Tacoma Fire Battalion Chief Dave England says the driver's side of the car fell onto Interstate 705.
