Two drivers injured in Mattawa wreck

Two motorists were taken to Kadlec Medical Center on Saturday after suffering injuries in a vehicle collision near Mattawa, the Washington State Patrol reported. 

Delores Galloway, 88, of Yakima, was traveling westbound on State Route 24 while Antonio Mendoza, 66, of Union Gap, was heading northbound on SR 243. Galloway failed to stop her Ford 500 at the stop sign and collided with Mendoza. Both drivers were transported to Kadlec Medical Center. Mendoza is listed in satisfactory condition, but Galloway’s condition is not being reported at this time.
