Woman dies in semitruck accident

A 20-year-old woman died Saturday morning after a semitruck she was a passenger in struck a tree on State Route 195.

At 7 a.m., a semitruck driver, 21-year-old Braden Bundy, fell asleep at the wheel. He drove off the road and into a tree , totaling his truck about 12 miles south of Spokane. His passenger, 20-year-old Kelsey Heidecker, died at the scene.
