Troopers say Trujillo was parked along the shoulder of southbound 395. Troopers say Trujillo was outside his vehicle and securing his load when a vehicle driven by Darrell Slippy, 79, of Pasco, allegedly struck and killed him. Medics pronounced Trujillo deceased at the scene.
