A Pasco man died early Monday morning after his car went off Interstate 90 near Easton and hit a tree before catching on fire, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Washington State Patrol says Leighton Rowe was driving a black Ford F-150 eastbound on I-90 in Kittitas County when his vehicle exited the roadway to the right and went through a barbed wire fence.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 23-year-old Leighton J. Rowe was eastbound on I-90 in a Ford F-150 when the vehicle left the roadway, went through a barbed wire fence, struck a tree, and became fully engulfed in flames. Rowe, of Pasco, was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident, which occurred at 2:49 a.m. Monday, is under investigation.
