It was about 11:20 a.m. when police were called regarding a man who had been robbed at at North First Street. He said he was giving another man a ride from a motel in that area to one at Fruitvale Boulevard when he was held at gunpoint and told to return to the first hotel. The armed man then got into a car with three other people and drove away. Police spotted the suspect vehicle on North 16th Avenue and began pursuing it. Eventually the crash led to South Naches Road, where the suspect car crashed into another vehicle containing two women. Two men and one women from the suspect vehicle were hospitalized, as were both of the women in the other vehicle that was struck. No injuries were reported to be life-threatening.
