Sunnyside woman was injured Monday afternoon when she crashed the car she was driving on Interstate 82 in Sunnyside, the Washington State Patrol reported.

A car accident on I-82 at the outskirts of the Sunnyside city limits yesterday afternoon left a local woman with serious injuries. Washington State Patrol officials report that 56-year-old Kathleen A. Charleboix of Sunnyside required medical treatment and was transported to Sunnyside Community Hospital.

Kathleen Charleboix was driving westbound on Interstate 82 when her car began to drift off the road. She then overcorrected causing her vehicle to roll, totalling the car. Fortunately she was wearing a seatbelt and drugs and alcohol were not involved. She was taken to Sunnyside Community Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
