YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. - Troopers say a teen is dead after a single-car crash on Interstate 82 near Highway U.S. 12 Tuesday morning.
Union Gap teenager killed in I-82 crash
A 16-year-old Union Gap boy was killed in a rollover accident on Interstate 82 Monday night, but the crash went unnoticed until Tuesday morning. Cobey D. Batrum was driving east on the highway and was east of the North First Street entrance ramp when his 1997 Honda Civic left the right side of the road, rolled and came to rest on its roof, according to the Washington State Patrol.
