Deputies reported the woman was traveling westbound and was off the roadway, near the fog line, when a westbound maroon GMC Sierra or Denali-style vehicle crossed over the fog line and struck her.

Witnesses tell YCSO that the pickup failed to stop after the accident and continued to drive westbound. At this time, officials do not know if the pickup turned off onto a side road into the area or not.
