Police said a vehicle apparently went off the road in the 9600 block of Occidental Road around 11 p.m. The driver, identified by the Yakima County Coroner as Regina Frank, 26, was able to get back on the road but skidded on the wet pavement, going off the road and hitting fruit trees and a concrete irrigation cylinder before severing a utility pole.
