It was just before 3:00pm when Farris headed south on Highway 97, and as he got to the intersection with Larue Road, a van travelling east on it ran a stop sign and collided with his car.

Kalman was driving an SUV eastbound on I-90 at about 5:20pm when he suddenly veered off the roadway and hit a guardrail, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side.

At about 12:50pm, a pickup truck driven by John C. Bates, 63, was stopped on Sunnyside-Mabton Road waiting to turn left onto Penn Avenue, with another pickup truck driven by Ramirez-Hernandez behind him.

A Cle Elum woman was transported to Harborview Medical Center last night at approximately 11:30 p.m. after the van she was a passenger in exited State Route 10, crashed into an embankment, and rolled over.
