A wrong-way driver, not yet identified publicly, crashed with another vehicle and died at the site on Interstate 82 near Granger Monday evening.
At about 1:00pm, Cunningham was traveling westbound on I-90 when she attempted to change lanes, but then ended up striking another westbound car, driven by Scott Collins, 42, and both cars departed the road and came to rest in the median.
Teresita Ronquillo was driving in a car with passenger Steven Schmele on Interstate 82 when she lost control of the vehicle on the icy road and span out in fron of a tractor-trailer driven by Gerald Krupp, 63.
Just before 6:00pm, Izguerra-Leal's Explorer was stopped on Highway 12 when another Explorer driven by Erika F. Pinon, 31, that was traveling in the same direction rear-ended her.
Hinkle was just exiting I-82 and entering I-90 when he allegedly fell asleep and his car departed the roadway on the left, re-entered the roadway, and then veered off to the left a second time before coming to rest off of the roadway.
At around 3:25pm, Sveen was driving east on State Route 410 when she lost control and veered off the roadway to left across the westbound lane, which caused the car to roll into a ditch and come to rest upside-down.
