Interstate 77 reopens after multi-car pileup

Officials with West Virginia Parkways Authority report all lanes of Interstate 77 northbound are open, following an 18 car pileup  Monday evening.

The multiple wrecks happened near mile marker 24 in the Camp Creek area. According to dispatchers at Mercer County 911, there were also accidents reported close to the Ghent exit. Preliminary information indicate most of the wrecks were minor with no serious injuries.
