UPDATE: Name Relased after Fatal Mining Accident

The West Virginia Office of Miners’ Health, Safety and Training confirms a fatal incident occurred , at Greenbrier Minerals Lower War Eagle Mine in Cyclone, Wyoming County. Preliminary information indicates Peter Dale Sprouse of Clear Fork, W.Va., died of injuries he received from a belt roller. Mr. Sprouse was a belt man/fire boss at the mine; he was 53 years old.
