Curtis Elswick, 47, was struck and killed by a pickup truck on Campbells Creek Drive in Kanawha County, West Virginia

A 47-year-old man hit and killed by a pickup truck on Campbells Creek Drive has been identified. According to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, Curtis Elswick, 47, was hit around 7:25 p.m. near Bays Drive.

Deputies report the man, later identified as Curtis Elswick, 47, of Campbells Creek, was wearing dark clothing when hit by a pickup truck traveling north.  According to the sheriff’s office, evidence suggested he was walking in the road when he was hit.

Kanawha County deputies said Curtis Elswick, 47, of Campbells Creek, was walking on Campbells Creek Road near Bays Drive at around 7:25 p.m. when he was hit by a pickup truck traveling north.
