A truck driver is dead and several students were injured in a fiery crash involving a Mingo County school bus, according to West Virginia officials.

The Mingo County Sheriff’s Department said Thomas Francis, 50, of Omar, struck the school bus carrying seven students and the bus driver. Francis died in the collision. The students and driver were hospitalized.
